Preparing and / or reviewing the reinsurance proposal, uniquely tailored to the client’s objectives
Assisting in the negotiation of treaty terms
Assisting in the due diligence process
Facilitating and managing captive reinsurance arrangements
Providing actuarial consulting services for the offshore / onshore captive
Assisting in the development of the business plan
Assisting and / or reviewing the product design (product specifications and actuarial pricing assumptions)
Assisting in the preparation of the financial pro forma projections
Assisting is securing offshore / onshore legal representation and administrative capabilities
Assisting to obtain offshore regulatory authority
Determining reinsurance characteristics necessary to meet the offshore / onshore captive’s capital needs
Identifying and approaching potential reinsurance partners
Reviewing the reinsurance proposal
Assisting in the negotiation of treaty terms

Performing the duties required as the approved actuary for the offshore / onshore captive
